CABBAGE ROLLS 
6 lg. outer cabbage leaves
1 lb. ground beef
3 tsp. salt (watch salt in recipe)
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. cooked rice
3 c. tomato juice
1 med. onion, sliced
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. vinegar

Scald cabbage leaves to soften. Combine ground beef, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, chopped onion and cooked rice. Form into 6 balls. Wrap each ball in cabbage leaf and secure with a toothpick. Place rolls in casserole dish. Combine tomato juice, 2 teaspoons salt, sugar and vinegar. Pour over cabbage balls. Bake, uncovered 1 hour at 350 degrees. Sauce may be thickened with flour after cooking, pour over rolls.
