FRESH PEAS WITH BASIL 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sliced green onions with tops
1 1/2 c. frozen peas
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. snipped parsley

Heat butter in a skillet. Add green onions and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peas, sugar, salt, pepper, basil, parsley, and water.

Cook, covered, over medium heat 10 minutes, or until peas are tender.

Serves 4.
