MICROWAVE SWEET AND SOUR GREEN
BEANS
 
3 slices bacon, cut up
1 sm. onion, sliced and separated into rings
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans

Place bacon and onion in small bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender and bacon cooked, stirring once. Mix in brown sugar, salt, mustard and vinegar.

Place green beans in a 2-quart casserole. Cover with plastic warp; microwave on HIGH 6-8 minutes or until heated, stirring after half the time. Drain. Add bacon-onion, tossing to combine. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 minutes or until heated.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
