MOM'S COFFEE CAKE 
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. very warm water
4 egg yolks
1 c. butter
4 c. flour
2 lg. cans pie filling, use cherry-pineapple or blueberry-apple combinations

TOPPING:

2 tsp. butter
5 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. sugar

Scald milk; add sugar; cool until lukewarm. Mix together yeast and very warm water; add milk to yeast. Beat in egg yolks. Cut butter into flour; beat in yeast. Divide dough in 1/2; roll out immediately. Spread filling and cover with other 1/2 dough. Let raise 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Mix crumb topping. Put topping on when cool. Also, pour powdered sugar glaze over topping. Glaze consists of powdered sugar and milk.
