DATE RICE CRISPY COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 lb. dates (cut up fine)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil 2 minutes until dates are mushy. Cool. Stir in 5 cups Rice Krispies. Butter hands and make balls the size of walnuts. Roll in either finely chopped nuts, crushed Special K cereal, or crushed fine coconut.
