SACCHARINE PICKLES 
4 c. vinegar, dilute
1/4 c. salt
12 saccharine tablets (1/4 grain)
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. mustard

Wash cucumbers and fill containers (quart or gallon glass jar). This vinegar mixture can be brought to a boil and poured over pickles hot to seal jars. Or the mixture can be poured over cold and pickles kept in refrigerator for indefinite time. Saccharine tablets can be purchased at a drugstore. Mustard is best bought in bulk at a health food store.
