SNICKER CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 14 oz. pkg. caramels 3/4 stick butter 1/3 c. milk 6 oz. chocolate chips Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour half of batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Meanwhile melt caramels, butter and milk together in a double boiler or microwave. Remove cake from oven and pour caramel mixture over it. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Dot remaining batter over the top so the top is covered. Return cake to 250 degree oven for 20 minutes. Then turn oven to 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. |
