CRUNCHY APPLE CRISP 
1 can sliced apples
1/4 c. flour
1 c. quick or old - fashioned oats
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter

Place apples, including liquid, in shallow 1 - quart baking dish. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, salt and spices. Add butter and mix well; spreading topping evenly over apples. Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream. Makes 6 servings.
