SNOWBALL COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
6 oz. semi-sweet chips
Confectioners sugar

Measure flour and re-sift with baking soda and set aside. Beat butter to cream. Beat sugar in gradually. Add vanilla and egg. Add flour mixture to butter mixture gradually until smooth. Add semi-sweet chips. Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until bottom is lightly brown. Let cool slightly and roll in confectioners sugar.
