DIET CELERY & BEEF STEW 
2 1/2 lbs. beef cubes
2 c. water
2 beef cubes
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
Celery leaves
1 qt. sliced celery
Parsley
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 c. chopped onion

Broil beef cubes in broiler 15 to 20 minutes. Put meat in Dutch oven and add water, garlic, thyme, salt and Tabasco; mix well until celery leaves and parsley with string and add to meat. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add celery, carrots, mushrooms and onion. Cook 45 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
