DOUBLE CRUST MEAT PIE 
PLAIN PASTRY:

2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
4-6 tbsp. cold water

MEAT PIE INGREDIENTS:

3 c. cold mashed potatoes
3 c. cold filling
3 c. cut up cold chicken
1 1/2 c. cold gravy

Line baking dish with rolled pie crust. Spread a layer of mashed potatoes, add a layer of filling; add a layer of chicken, add gobs of cold gravy. Salt and pepper if desired. Add layer of top crust. Bake for an hour at 350 degrees. (This recipe is made with "left overs" from a roast chicken dinner.) Use hot dressing on serving slices.
