MAINE CLAM CHOWDER 
3 cans clams
3 med. potatoes
3 med. onions
Water (to cover)
Clam juice

Cut the potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes and onions also into 1/2 inch cubes. Put both into pot. Cover with water and cook on low heat. Add clams and continue cooking on low heat. To steam them, cover the pot. When your guests come, add clam juice, one bottle and cover. Makes 4 to 6 bowls or 20 cups.
