PARMESAN ROUNDS | |
1 loaf white bread, sliced 1 - 1 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 stick butter, melted 3 tbsp. mayonnaise 3 green onions, chopped 8 oz. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Preheat broiler. Using small round cookie cutter, cut 3 circles from each slice of bread. Butter 1 side, arrange on baking sheet. Broil until lightly toasted. Turn and broil unbuttered side until lightly toasted. Cool. Mix cream cheese and 1/4 cup butter, mayonnaise and onion. Spread 1 teaspoon on buttered side of bread. Dip into Parmesan cheese. At serving time, broil until bubbly and golden, about 3 minutes. |
