NUTTY CHEESE BARS 
BASE:

1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter golden cake mix
3/4 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. butter

TOPPING:

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Combine cake mix, 3/4 cup nuts and butter. Stir until well blended. Press mixture into bottom of pan. Combine cream cheese and brown sugar. Stir until well blended. Spread over cake mixture. Sprinkle with 3/4 cups of pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are brown. Cool completely. Cut into 2 1/2 x 2 inch bars. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 32 bars.
