DATES CRISPIES CANDY 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. marshmallows
1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped dates

Cook butter and marshmallows over boiling water until syrupy. Add vanilla and beat thoroughly. Put Rice Krispies in large greased bowl; add dates and mix. Pour in marshmallow mixture, stirring briskly. Press into shallow greased pan. Cut into squares when cool.
