CRACKLE-TOP PEANUT BUTTER
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. butter
Granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients, mix well. Shape rounded spoonfuls of dough into balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees 10-12 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
