ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1/4 c. salad oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 can tomatoes, cut up (lg. can)
2 cans (6 oz. each) tomato paste
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. basil leaves
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. parsley

Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
