MINCEMEAT COOKIES | |
1 c. shortening 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (9 oz.) pkg. mincemeat, crumbled In large bowl beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, beating until smooth. Stir in dry ingredients, mix together. Gradually add to shortening mixture. Mix well. Stir in mincemeat. Drop by teaspoon full 2 inches apart on greased cooking sheet. Bake at 350-375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or until light brown. Makes 6 dozen. |
