BACON WRAP AROUNDS 
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts
2 tbsp. sugar
10 slices of bacon, cut in halves, crosswise

Combine soy sauce and sugar; marinate chestnuts in mixture for 30 minutes. Wrap bacon slice around each chestnut; fasten with a wooden pick. Place on a rack in shallow baking pan or on a broiler pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until bacon is crisp. Serve hot.
