CARAMEL SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. flour
2 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. vanilla

Mix sugars and flour together. Add water and cook until thickened and clear. Stir in butter and vanilla. Very good served over vanilla cake. Never curdles and may be warmed over as long as it lasts.
