QUICK AND EASY NUTTY CHEESE BARS 
1 Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (divided: 3/4 c., 3/4 c.)
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 pkgs. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
9 x 13 inch rectangular baking pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

BASE:

Stir together in a medium bowl until well mixed: dry cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter, 3/4 cup chopped nuts. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of prepared pan.

TOPPING:

Stir together in a medium bowl with a spoon until well mixed: 1 cup packed brown sugar, 2 packages softened cream cheese. Spread topping evenly over the base in the pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until edges are browned and cheese topping is set. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
