OYSTER STEW 
1 pt. sm. oysters with liquid
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. or less salt
2 tbsp. cold water
Dash of Tabasco sauce
2 1/3 c. non-fat milk powder
3 3/4 c. water

Place oysters with liquid in medium saucepan. Combine flour, salt, Tabasco, and 2 tablespoons cold water; blend to a smooth paste and add to oysters. Simmer and stir over very low heat about 5 minutes - just until edges of oysters begin to curl. Combine non-fat milk powder with remaining cold water; heat to scalding, but do not allow to boil. Stir in oysters. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 15 minutes to blend flavors. Reheat stew briefly to serving temperature.
