SQUASH DATE BREAD 
1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. cooked, mashed banana squash
1/2 c. water

Sift dry ingredients together. Mix oil, water, squash and eggs. Blend in dry ingredients, then fold in dates and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes a 9 x 5 inch loaf.
