1 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar
1 can butter beans
1 can pork and beans
1 can kidney beans
1/2 c. brown sugar

Put hamburger, bacon and onion in a soup pot and cook until brown. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until everything is heated thoroughly. (If the soup seems too thick, you may add some water, but only about 1/2 cup at a time.)
