CORN DOGS 
2/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 c. milk
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. oil
8 - 10 franks
Oil for deep frying

Combine dry ingredients, add egg, milk and oil. Mix well. Insert wooden sticks, coat with some flour, then dip into cornmeal mixture. Fry a few at a time in deep hot oil until golden brown. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
