BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stew meat
1 onion
2 tsp. butter
Potatoes
Carrots
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. vinegar
1 can tomato sauce
1 c. celery

Cut up meat and brown with 1 chopped onion. Use 1 teaspoon of butter. Put into slow cooker. Cover meat with water. Add 1/2 pepper, 1/2 cumin powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vinegar and 1 can tomato sauce. Cut up potatoes, carrots, celery (to your liking) and let all cook (slow cooker) for 3 hours. Put into casserole and serve (4 servings).
