BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pkg. Hamburger Helper mix for beef noodle
5 c. water
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mix vegetables

Cook and stir ground beef and onion in Dutch oven until beef is brown; drain. Stir in sauce mix, water, bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes (with liquid); break up tomatoes with fork. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Stir in noodles and vegetables, cover and cook 10 minutes longer. Makes 5 or 6 servings.
