SHRIMP-A-RUE | |
1/4 c. Old Bay seasoning 4 lb. small red potatoes 6 ears fresh corn, halved or use frozen type seafood cocktail sauce and melted butter (for frying) 2 medium onions, cut in quarters 2 lb. kielbasa or hot smoked sausage, cut in 1 1/2-inch slices 4 lb. unpeeled shrimp In a large pot, boil 5 quarts water with Old Bay seasoning and onions. Add potatoes and boil 10 minutes. Add sausage and corn and boil 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Remove potatoes, sausage and corn with a slotted spoon. Add shrimp to pot and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Remove shrimp and serve with additional Old Bay seasoning, seafood cocktail sauce and butter. Serves 12. |
