CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts

Mix butter, sugar, pudding and vanilla until creamy and smooth. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour, soda, salt. Then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Yields: 7 dozen.
