PEA SALAD 
1 bunch fresh leaf lettuce
1 (16 oz.) can LeSeuer green peas
1 sm. onion
2 stalks celery
1 lg. bell pepper
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
3 tbsp. sugar
12 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb. thin sliced bacon

Wash and drain lettuce; chop fine and put in bowl. Add a layer of celery, layer of bell pepper, layer of onion. Mix mayonnaise with 3 tablespoons sugar; let stand until dissolved. Put on top of layered vegetables. Add shredded cheese on top of mayonnaise; fry bacon and crumble on top of cheese.
