TEXAS SENATOR LLOYD BENTSEN'S
BAKED CRAB IN SHELL
 
1 lb. lump crab meat
1 pt. table cream
1 green pepper, diced
2 c. celery, diced
2 c. onion, diced
3-4 tbsp. butter
1 c. cracker crumbs
Tabasco sauce
Lemon for garnish
Parsley
Paprika
6-8 crab shells

Saute pepper, celery and onion in butter. In a bowl, mix cracker crumbs, cream, salt and pepper to taste. Add sauteed vegetables and crab meat. Fill crab shells and top with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Garnish with lemon and parsley.
