31. HAMBURGER HOT POT

Cook meat in drippings for ... 5 minutes. Add barley, tomatoes, water and pepper. Simmer 1 hour. Add vegetables and sauce. Cover and simmer 1 hour.

32. BARLEY HOT DISH

Brown beef and onion. Add all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
