Combine all ingredients. Cook until 250 degrees or hard ball stage. Pour over 3 quarts popped corn and shape into balls.

Heat oil in 4 quart ... medium heat. Add popcorn. Cover, leaving small air ... cover. Shake frequently over medium heat until popcorn stops popping.

Boil syrup, sugar and cream of tartar until soft ball in cold water. Add butter and soda. Pour mixture over popped corn. Form into balls.

Bring to a boil and pour over popcorn. About 3 quarts of popcorn.

Boil without stirring, Karo, sugar, vinegar, water and ... fine thread forms, add soda and stir real good and while still forming pour over corn.
