MAPLE PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. pecan halves
1 c. maple or maple-flavored syrup
Dash of salt
1 unbaked pie shell (9 inches)

Combine eggs, sugar, butter, syrup and salt; mix well. Sprinkle pecans evenly in pastry shell. Pour syrup mixture over pecans. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake 35 minutes or until set.
