SHEPHERD'S PIE 
2 c. diced cooked lamb
1 lb. jar sm. boiled onions (drained)
1 c. grape jelly or spiced grape jam
1 tsp. dry English mustard
salt and pepper
1 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
1 can French fried onion rings

Put lamb, onions and grape jelly in the bottom of a shallow 2 quart buttered casserole dish. Mix up with hands or spoon. Sprinkle with mustard, salt and pepper. Top with mashed potatoes and spread evenly. Arrange onion rings on top of mashed potatoes. Put into a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until top is slightly browned.

Serves 4.
