LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.), melted
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Mix with fork, pat gently into 9x13 greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

While baking is baking, mix the following:

4 eggs, well beaten
2 scant c. sugar (granulated)
7 tbsp. lemon or Key lime juice

When crust is almost baked, add the following to the egg and sugar and juice mixture:

4 heaping tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Then when crust is baked, pour above mixture over the crust. Bake another 25 minutes (350 degrees). Dust with confectioners' sugar. When cool, cut into squares.
