SKILLET MACARONI BEEF | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 lb. uncooked elbow macaroni (about 2 c.) 1/2 c. minced onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper Cook beef in large skillet until lightly browned. Remove meat from pan; add macaroni, onion, green pepper and cook in fat from meat until macaroni turns yellow. Return meat; add tomato sauce, water, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 25 minutes or until macaroni is cooked through. |
