EVAN'S GREAT WALL TURKEY BALL
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Japanese marinade (oh gon no aji mild hot) (get it at a Japanese grocery store)
1/2 lb. ground turkey breast
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion medium, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup Sichuan sauce
2 cups cooked white rice

Note: You can substitute other ground meat but make sure it is very lean with not much fat as the fat would lead to too much grease in the dish... And change the name of the dish accordingly! So if you use Buffalo then its Great Wall Buffalo Ball.

In a bowl, combine ginger, cumin, garlic, marinade, ground turkey breast and breadcrumbs together. Form into balls and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a Wok. Place balls in the wok turning quickly to sear the outside. Add the vegetables. Fry together for about 15 minutes or until the bell peppers are cooked. Add Sichuan sauce and stir together on low heat. Serve over a bed of cooked white rice.

Makes about 10.
