EASY DEEP DISH PIZZA | |
3 c. Bisquick 3/4 c. water 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 2 cloves crushed garlic or garlic powder 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 jar sliced mushrooms (drained) 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese or farmers cheese Heat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease jelly roll pan 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Mix Bisquick and water until soft dough forms. Smooth dough into ball on floured surface and knead 20 times. Pat dough on bottom and up sides of pan with floured hands. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, salt, garlic and drain. Mix tomato sauce, Italian seasoning; spread evenly over dough. Spoon beef mixture over sauce. Top with mushrooms, green pepper (or whatever else you choose) and cheese. Bake until crust is golden brown, about 20 minutes. Serves 8. |
