UNCOOKED FRUIT CAKE | |
1 lb. graham crackers 1 c. heavy sweet cream 1 lb. candied dates 1 lb. marshmallows 1 lb. candied cherries 1 lb. pecans (all nuts blanched & chopped) 1 lb. almonds 1 lb. citron or candied pineapple Crush and sift graham crackers. Mix with chopped fruits and nuts. Melt marshmallows in cream in a double boiler. Pour over all and mix quickly with your hands. Shape in pan lined with wax paper and put in the refrigerator. Best to leave in refrigerator overnight. |
