TURTLE CANDIES 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 1/4 c. pecan halves
28 caramels
2 tbsp. whipping cream

Microwave chocolate in bowl on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir after 1 minute, then until smooth. When done, drop chocolate by tablespoons onto waxed paper lined baking sheet. Shaping into 16 (1 1/2 inch) circles arrange 4 pecans over each circle. Chill until firm.

Melt caramels and cream on high 2 minutes. Stir at 1 minute. Let stand 4 minutes until thick - spoon over pecans. Microwave remaining chocolate at high 1 minute. Stir after 30 seconds. Quickly spread over caramel mixture. Refrigerate until firm.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
