PASTA WITH WALNUTS, PARSLEY AND
PARMESAN
 
1 c. walnuts
1 lb. fettuccine
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

Toast walnuts in oven at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or until golden brown. (Or in microwave, high power for 1 minute or until browned.) Chop and set aside.

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Transfer to a large bowl; add the walnuts and remaining ingredients, toss, and serve hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
