SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs, drop in 2 at a time
3 c. plain flour
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add eggs 2 at a time. Mix vanilla with sour cream; add alternating with flour. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
