BAVARIAN DESSERT CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 egg

FILLING:

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. warm water
1 can ready to spread chocolate frosting mix (reserve 1/4 cup for glaze)
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. whipped cream

In large bowl combine 2 cups cake mix, butter and egg at low speed. Mix well be thick. Stir in remaining cake mix. Press in bottom and 2 1/2 inch up sides of greased spring form pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 20 minutes or until sides and center are slightly puffed. Cool.

Combine gelatin and water. Let stand until gelatin is completely dissolved.

In large bowl mix frosting, sour cream and gelatin until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into crust. Chill until set (about 2 hours). Remove sides of pan.

In small saucepan melt reserved frosting. Drizzle over cake in spiral pattern starting at center. Using knife, draw lines from center outwards to form spider web pattern.
