PEACH ICE CREAM | |
1/2 c. superfine sugar 1/4 tsp. almond extract 2 c. heavy cream 1 c. pureed peaches 1 tbsp. lemon juice Stir sugar and almond extract into heavy cream and chill. Peel and slice peaches. Puree in food processor or blender. Combine peaches with lemon juice and chill. Combine liquids and solids as recommended by manufacturer of your ice cream freezer. (Some suggest adding solids 1/2 hour after the liquids.) Makes approximately 1 quart. Can be doubled for 2 quart ice cream freezer. |
