TACO SQUARES 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 env. taco seasoning mix
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 tbsp. oil
1/3 c. corn meal
2 c. shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat in skillet with onions. Drain. Stir in taco sauce, beans and seasoning mix. Simmer 5 minutes.

Unroll dough in 9 x 11 inch cake pan. Lay in strips, cover bottom and sides of pan. Brush dough with oil and sprinkle corn meal over dough. Pour hot mixture onto dough and bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

After time is up, sprinkle cheese on it. After cheese melts, top with lettuce, tomatoes and taco sauce. Serves 10.
