MILDRED'S BROWN BREAD 
2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 c. sweet milk
1 c. sour milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda

1. Stir all ingredients together.

2. Grease tins before adding mix.

3. Fill cans about 2/3 full.

4. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Put cans on rack in Dutch oven or steamer; pour boiling water into Dutch oven to level of rack. Cover Dutch oven. Keep water boiling. Add boiling water as it boils down. Cook about 3 hours.
