BUTTERMILK CUSTARD PIE 
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash nutmeg, optional
1 pie shell, unbaked (8 or 9 inch)
Whipped cream
Toasted sliced almonds

Combine well beaten eggs, and sugar. Beat until well blended. Add flour, buttermilk and butter. Mix until well blended. Add vanilla and nutmeg. Blend. Place mixture into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden on top and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Chill. Before serving garnish with small amount of whipped cream and almonds.
