AUNT JEAN'S HERBED PEA SALAD | |
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen peas, cooked & drained 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. chopped green onion 1/4 c. chopped pimiento 1 (4 oz.) pkg. herb style dressing mix (buttermilk style) 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 c. cubed pepper cheese 2 hard cooked eggs, sliced 1 c. cheese or herb flavored croutons Mix together in a large bowl: peas, celery, onion and pimiento. Fold into this mixture the dressing mix, mayonnaise and buttermilk. Refrigerate 3 hours. Just before serving add the pepper cheese, eggs and croutons. |
