LAYERED SALAD 
Layer the following in a large, non-metal container.

1/2 head lettuce, broken to bite-size pieces
Chopped green onions
Grated carrots
Sliced celery
Chopped green pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
1 c. mayonnaise or enough to spread over pea layer
8 to 10 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled (may substitute bacon bits)
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Parmesan cheese or grated Cheddar cheese

Refrigerate overnight. Serves 10.
